Ditch dairy and try out this homemade vegan coconut yogurt! Dairy is a common food allergen that can create inflammation in the body. Dairy intolerance can lead to congestion and phlegm, digestive issues like bloating, headaches and skin reactions like acne.
This coconut yogurt is dairy free and so delicious! Thank you to my friend Victoria Dodge for sharing the recipe with me.
Prep & Serve:
Open 3 coconuts and scoop out the meat. Place coconut meat in a blender and add a little bit of coconut water from your coconuts. Add 1/8 teaspoon of vanilla bean powder and blend together!
Next, add 2 capsules of multidophilus to the blended mixture. Use a wooden spoon (not metal) to stir, then pour out into a bowl and cover with a cheesecloth.
Leave out covered overnight for 12 hours in a warm, dark place.
The yogurt will keep for two weeks and you can add your favorite toppings like raspberries and hemp seeds!
